I decided to make my cards into family cards. Let me explain, Kaley turned 3 in March. She will start Headstart on Aug 23. Headstart is a prepreschool. I know she will make a lot of friends and hopefully I will make lots of mommy friends .  When I do, I will be ready!! The front of my cards say my name, along with my hubby’s and the babies names as well. On the back right I put our family motto, “With family by your side, anything is possible!” Below that is, “Live, Laugh, & Love Everyday!. Then on the right side I have my email, phone number, and website. This way when I meet a cool mom, or the teacher wants help with something all I need to do is hand her my card. It is like a mommy business card.

I am sure you guys can think of a million other ways to use these cards, so go ahead and grab yours. They only take a couple mins to make.

TIPS:   The left top text box can hold 2 lines of words, just press enter 1/2 way through your sentence.

You can change the size and/or color of your text. By making the font smaller you can fit more.

You can add a picture to the background of the front or back. You are also able to add more text box’s if you need to add more info.

I know it looks like a lot but it really isn’t. Plus it is really worth the effort. This is the craziest Breast Cancer awareness campaign I have ever seen.  I think it is great!! Whatever it takes to spread the word.  On the main page it has 2 girls talking to each other one of them is saying, “I feel my boobies, do you?” While the other says, ” I did, it saved my like!”.  The freebie is a vinyl  sticker  that says,  Feel your Bobbies” with the pink ribbon and their web address.

I have always supported the Susan G Komen foundation. The fight for a cure to breast cancer is so imoportant.  Ever since I first started working and bringing in a paycheck, I have supported this cause.

My Mama (grandmother) died from breats cancer when I was 7. She was the most wonderful woman in the entire world. 

Although this campaign is a bit unorthodox, if it gets young girls to be more aware and do self examines then I am all for it.

I have a pink nursery portable tote bag with a storage pouch. I actually posted this freebie when I first started this site. I never got mine. And so it begins…(don, don, don)…The freebie war of 2010. On one side we have Walmart. A company distributing freebies for a long time, one who has filled our mailbox more times then we can remember. Up against Target, a newbie to the freebies world. Who will fill our hearts and our mailbox’s more this year?? Who will win the 2010 battle of the freebies?!?

OK, ok, I will get to the freebie. Target is giving away L’Oreal Everpure shampoo and conditioner samples. I know, this is the 3rd tme we have had this freebie but it is really good shampoo. I didn’t think I would have enough in the small packet for my thick hair, but I had just enough and it smells really good!!

Now be warned, the page is taking forever to load. Your best bet is to do what I did and let the page open in a new window and do something else for a bit and check back. Then after it loads, click free sample, NOT the “Buy Now” button. This page will take a while to load to. Hopefully later today it will clear up and be a bit easier to get through.

This is by far the coolest freebie I have ever found!! The kindness card is pretty much a  ”Pay it Forward” program. When you commit a random act of kindness you just leave the card as a reminder to that person so hopefully they will do the same. They will send you FREE cards, plus you can print them out and print out posters about it on their site. Here is an example they have on how to use the kindness card:

Example (just one of many)…. you pull into a drive-thru and pay for your order. Instead of just taking your food and pulling off, give the Gift of Kindness and pay for the person behind. Sure it may cost you $5 but the simple act will have a profound impact on that person and in your own life. It’s easy, you tell the cashier you want to pay for that person behind you too. You then hand the cashier a KINDNESS CARD and ask that they give the card to the person when they pull through to pay. This lets the recipient know and become aware of the initiative as the card explains it. Later in the day or week, this person will look at the card and it will remind them that they were the recipient of a the Gift of Kindness. The card serves as a reminder and a vehicle to be contagious and spread positive energy.

The concept is simple. The impact is overwhelming. The opportunity is now up to you.

Give the Gift of Kindness on a regular basis and you will be see a change not only in the lives of those around you but also a positive, more fulfilling change in your own life.

I have always tried to commit at least one random act of kindness each day. I had a request to repost the site where you can watch free movies online. I use this site almost everyday. My hubby and I don’t even watch TV on the actual TV anymore. Just the other day my sister was at the theater watching The Bounty Hunter with Jennifer Anniston while I was at home watching it!

Here is how it works, each movie will have up to a dozen different “showings”, pick one and start watching it! If it takes a while to load, pick a different one. Sometimes I will go through 3 or 4 before I find a good one. Also, some will be really high quality and others will be grainy, just go through them until you find one that plays and looks good. If it is skipping just pause it for 5-10 mins and come back.  Loomba and Fairyshare are usually always good.

I also have found that you can watch most of the new shows on the station it broadcasts from. ABC, CBS, NBC, TNT, FX, TBS. and The CW all have full episodes you can watch.

For the shows they don’t play, just go to Hulu or Channel 131. Both of these sites have an extensive list of shows and a few movies. Hulu even has a lot of old shows. On Channel 131’s home page they list the recently added shows and movies and the shows that will be added that day.

Hi guys! I noticed that lots of you have signed up with swagbucks and some of you are earning swagbucks. Be sure to download the swagbucks toolbar. That is the BEST way to earn bucks. Everytime you swagsurf (use their toolbar to search for something) you could win swagbucks. I earn bucks every 4 or 5 times I search for something. On my computer I have the top toolbar that has the long bar where you enter the actual address. Next to that I have the small search bar, that one I leave on google. Then below both of those I have my menu bar, then under that I have my swagbucks bar. This way if I want to search for something I have the choice of using google or swagbucks.

Hi guys! I hope everyone is having a great week so far. We are 1/2 through!! Only 4 days until Easter. I am super excited this year. I have a 3 year old and an almost 2 year old. In case you are wondering, they are 15 months a part (and best friends!). This year we are going to our Church’s Easter celebration. They are having an Easter egg hunt, a bouncy house, and a lot of other great stuff! This year both of my babies will be able to actually hunt for the eggs. We have actually been practicing around the house.

I already have my notebook with dividers and plastic baseball card holders ready to go! They say it will take a couple of months to get stocked up on enough coupons to be able to take advantage of all the deals so I am starting now. Then tomorrow go back and print the new ones for April. Most coupons are good for at least a month up to a year.

They say to buy a paper on Sun and clip every coupon plus print every coupon. Even the ones you don’t think you will use. Also, I wanted to let you know that we are getting a makeover!!! I am working on a new and improved “look” for Angies Freebies. I should be ready to switch over in a week or two. So until then I will not be posting any Great Deals. The new look is taking a lot of time. Do not worry, I will still be posting freebies everyday and when we switch to the new look I will do it in the middle of the night and the site will only be down for about 30 mins. I will give you a heads up before I do it. If you have any suggestions for things you would like to see on this site, let me know. I appreciate any feedback I get. This site is for you guys so if there is something you would like for me to add or even subtract let me know. I am already planning a lot of new really cool features.

One thing I am in need of is a great header so if you do headers or know of a reliable inexpensive person who does headers, let me know. I really want asomething more then just my name up there!
